Ingredients needed: 1 potato (serves 1 person), cooking oil, kosher salt, garlic power, and rosemary.
Cut potatoes into thin slices and pat dry completely. Be sure they are very dry so that they do not splatter in the oil so much.
Mix together 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/4 teaspoon rosemary in a small dish. Set aside to sprinkle over fries later.
Cook the fries in cooking oil until golden brown, then move to a paper towel to drain.
Immediately sprinkle with the salt mixture and serve.
